Adding D2 and D3 teams to college hoops would be a next generation move. Hell, this would be the ultimate career mode. You start out at a D3 school and work your way up. They could have one super-sized recruiting pool and let all the colleges have at it.

That's an excellent idea. That was my view of next gen. Most games have good gameplay but with next gen I thought they would focus more on tons of depth like this to sports games.

Yeah, that's what my idea of next generation is.

Right now it seems like next generation is, graphic upgrades and a few more features; while taking features out of the current generation games. You can't fool me with that ****.

This would definitely be amazing...

I think that D2 and 3 would be pointless. I don't think I would ever want to play as a D1 team. I have a hard time playing with the start schools in career modes. It would be tight in you could go from a D3 and get offers from good school but going from D3 to D2 to Low Major to Mid Major to Major in 40 years is not fun...

I think it is not a good idea at all. I would rather them spend more space on graphic and career mode. I would want them to make the product for D1 sounds before they move into D2 and 3. hell i would rather them add a weekly re cap show or something over that.

I agree, they have a lot of other stuff that needs to be added first. Within the next ten years they should be able to go a little deeper with college hoops.

In the same breath, why not go to that next level?

that is the next level really. I mean I think the next level would making the D1 part more realistic. I would like to see them make it where you don't run any team but you are an assistant coach at say.... MSU and then once the current guy leaves you can take over or you can then get snatched up for another school... OR maybe they could junior colleges or even AAU teams but adding D2 and 3 would just be a pointless layer. Can you really name 10 D3 schools? Seriously though. Who was the D2 NCAA Champion last year?.... My point exactly

It adds more depth to me. It would also be a way to reach new fans. I'm sure people who attend D2 and D3 schools would love to see this.

D3 schools don't give athletic scholarships but I'm sure something could be worked out.

Me personally don't see any challenge in starting out as an assistant at MSU. I wouldn't be mad if it was added, but where is the challenge? If you go from assistant at a major to head coach at a mid-major I'm with it; but if you go from assistant at a major to head coach at a major, nooooooooooooo.

I wouldnt go as far as puting D3 schools, because of them not offering scholarships, but I attend a D2 school which i'm the head manager of and I would love to see D2 basketball implemented. Thats a true challenge instead of going undefeated with a small D1 school how about during your forty years spend maybe 5 or 6 at a d2 school where you make your name as a recruiter and then you get a small/decent mid-major assistant job for maybe 9 years that 15 max. and you still have 25 to make a name as a head coach and then you will not have to keep earning points as a head coach you can go right into head coaching as a leader! Alot of quality D1 guys transfer to D2 schools after their freshman year. And as many D2 schools there are making the move to D1 why not? D2 and small D1 schools are on about the same level! I think there should be a basketball IQ test they give you before you begin your legacy where you might be able to earn extra attributes or something!!! Theres alot that can be done to expand CH's fan base and to keep people involved. The CIAA which is a D2 conference holds the second biggest conference tournament in the nation only behind the ACC!!! And the CIAA's geography is the same as the ACC's with schools ranging from Maryland, VA, and NC!! I would love to see D2 schools in the game!!! And Just about every D1 school plays their exhbitions against D2 schools!!!! I LOVE BASKETBALL (ESPECIALLY) COLLEGE BASKETBALL AND MAN THAT WOULD BE THE ICING ON THE CAKE FOR ME!!!!

I feel you Fresh. I would love to see D2 schools added once the rest of the game is mastered.
