Ladies and gents-

New here. Glad to be here. Anywho, when November 20th comes ... will you have the game via online/mail or will you go to a store and pick it up?

I need that game during Thanksgiving to escape any boring football game or annoying family member, so my question is do you recommend picking it up in the store or buying it online?

Last year I was down in Ocean City, MD and luckily some guy at EB Games down in Rehobeth selled the game the night before hit it the shelves. I was up three nights in a row playing that game.

For those that ordered the game last year online, did it arrive at your house the first day it was sold in stores? Or did you have to wait a few extra days/weeks?

I just want to make sure I have that game come November 20.

Thanks.

I don't know why people buy games online. If you want the game earlier you'd have to pay a lot for shipping so in my opinion it's not really worth it. Go the online route only if you can't find the game in-stores. I found 2K6 the day it was released at a Gamestop in Chicago, so I don't think there would be a problem getting this game on the release date

It's on you. I order online because I have had problems in the past with my local stores not having it. I don't mind paying the tax and shipping and handling cost in order to have it in my hands Nov 21.

Men, I don't trust buying online..I usually by in person in stores..You would really see the exact product that you desire to buy...That's really the best way in buying stuffs like those..

I say buy at the store. the reason is i have heard about people who pre-order CD's and then they get it a week after it comes out. If you want it when it comes out get it from a store.

thanks guys!

I will end up doing what I did last year and just get it @ EB Games or something instead of having to wait an extra week or so for it to come in the mail.

I never had to wait a extra week for any game and I always order online. But at the end of the day, do you. I just know what I've dealt with in the past with my local stores.

I think the best thing to do is instead to just reserve it at a store. you get the benefit of paying early and you know you can just pick it up. Also that bad pre-order experience i had was on amazon. where do you order from Law Cutta?

I order from EB or Gamestop.

Amazon.com is slow. They will get the game on wed or thurs then take a couple of days to ship it out.
