Is 11/20 the release date still?!?!

Ok so I was at Gamestop and I was buying a PS2 and a game so I could have my own PS2 in my room and then I saw JJ Reddick on the cover of it. I got temped and said its only 5 dollars let me pre-order it. So I said i want to pre-order it and the guy pulls out the sheet and he looks at it for like 5 mins and we noticed two things...

1. March Madness 07 was on the list and that is coming out in Feburary. I didn't reserve that.

2. College Hoops was not on the list to reserve.

I wonder does that mean that the game won't be coming out in Novemeber. I am really waiting for this game and I hope the don't toy with us and push it back.

I hope it is. The official website still says the 20th as the shipping date. Counting today, there are 4 Fridays until November 20th. Could they possibly start coming out with fastbreak fridays or something like that? Man the marketing for this game BLOWS. I'm majoring in marketing, maybe when I graduate I'll get hired by 2Ksports and I'll market this game for them haha

I don't understand that but how can they have March Madness reservations but not a game coming out next month. Something isn't right... I smell a release date being pushed back

Yea that is pretty weird. I'm not being a 2K fanboy when I say this, but every year when I go to either EB or Gamestop to pick up/reserve College Hoops, they always assume that I'm talking about March Madness. Heck, even last year I went to Best Buy to get College Hoops because it said on their website that they had it in. I went there and the guy said oh yeah, you mean this? and he showed me March Madness. It seems like stores don't even know this game exists until it shows up at their door. Makes no sense, because in my opinion March Madness is a joke compared to this game. Pick it up 2k with the marketing for this game! This is definitely my favorite 2k game

I already have the game reserved at Gamestop. They just pulled it up in the computer without a problem. In fact, a month ago was when I first found out when it was coming out. I have it reserved and can't wait!

ok i was at a ghetto disorganzed store. their computer went down and everything while i was there but you people in the forum just reassured me AND made me decided to pre-order it at anther store
