I know there are some of you who are interested in obtaining the rosters. I am going to name all of the teams myself. If the game is released on November 20th as it is supposed to be, I will have the rosters completed by the Friday the 24th or sooner. I will be charging $30 to ship the rosters to you on a memory card. I will charge $20 if you ship me your memory card and I download the rosters to it. My friend, who will be helping me, has a Pay Pal account, to accept credit cards. I will accept cash sent with the memory card, but I doubt anyone will send cash. I know I wouldn't send it with my card. Post me back on here if you are interested or email me at "sportsnut12605@yahoo.com", if you have any questions. The cards will be sent back by UPS. I wil be looking forward to hearing back from anyone interested. I know myself it is great to have the players named when I play. Also they can be downloaded onto NBA 2K7, which is cool.

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that it is illegal to make a profit off of a collegiate athletes name. I would be careful. Other people get away with it by giving people the opportunity to make a donation or not.

A couple years ago I ordered a memory card with all of the names for NCAA Football. Got that off the interenet so I guess it not illegal. As far as making money off of Collegiate Athletes , that is all the NCAA does. I am just offering to make the game more fun for those who like knowing what the players names are. I find it makes the game even more realistic. I am readjusting my rate to $15 for anyone that sends me an exixting memory card. Anyone interested email me at sportsnut12605@yahoo.com.

Read this article. In there it states that the NCAA does not allow companies to profit off of student-athletes likenesses. It is the reason why you can't go to a sports store and buy a OU jersey with Adrian Peterson's name on it. The number belongs to the university, if they used his name however, he would be entitled to royalties, which would no longer make him a amaetur. So I believe the NCAA looks at it as some sort of copyright infringment. Some people get around it, like psxsports for example, by instead of charging people for the rosters, either charge them the price of the memory card or ask for a small donation for the d/l of their files. They don't charge someone for getting the rosters, but if you feel like they deserve some money for their time and effort, go ahead and donate some.

I still don't think it's illegal.

To avoid any posible problems you could say:

Buy a memory card and receive edited Ch2k7 rosters for free

or

Send me your memory card and I will save edited CH2k7 rosters on it for free. I'll just ask that you pay $15 for shipping and handling.

That is my point. It will be some sort of copyright infringement to do it for the sole intent and purpose to turn a profit off of those student-athletes names.

All you need is a Datel Xchange unit or Action Replay. I've been getting free rosters for years.

THe NCAA is full of BULL-SHEET!!!

ESPN,Sports Illustrated...are these companies profiting off of the likeness of these athletes?

Yes, they are.
