lets settle this here....what is the best song ever made by the beatles???
id have to say "All My Loving" what about yall? DISCUSS THIS AND ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE GROUP!
BTW, its a darned shame that they were together for only 9 or 10 years...and that only 2 members are left alive. i like them a whole lot, i just never say it since it sounds kinda strange coming from a dood like me.

One of my personal favorites is "A Day In The Life", but there are so many that are so close. I usually prefer their earlier stuff.

So who thinks Ringo Starr is the most overrated drummer in the history of music, other than Neal Peart.

Come Together's number two in my book.
Followed by Hey Jude, Yesterday, Hello Goodbye, and Penny Lane.

I've never heard anyone say that Ringo Starr is one of the best drummers. He was good, but he was more or less along for the ride with the 3 others, and most people know that.

I guess it depends on the people you talk to.....
I've heard a lot of people list him as one of the top 5 drummers ever along with Keith Moon, Neil Peart, Mick Fleetwood, Ian Paice, etc. In fact, just Google the phrase 'top drummers all-time' and almost every list has the top 3 going Keith Moon, Neil Peart, Ringo Starr.
Neil Peart is good, but he's not as good as everyone says he is, the fact that his drum set is huge helps give the illusion of him being even better than he is.
Keith Moon entirely revolutionized drums and was amazing....having said that, he was TERRIBLE live. He pretty much just banged on tom's randomly. Don't believe me? YouTube it.

I think ?uestlove gets slept on just because he's in a rap group, and because he's overshadowed by Black Thought.
?uestlove is an amazing musician though, without question.

Thats almost impossible to pick for anyone who REALLY liked the Beatles as I did growing up.I really like "In My Life" though.I could seriously name about 50 songs from them though that I really like.

i read something online that said the song "please please me" isnt as 'innocent' as its made out to be, but rather that its a song about exchanging sexual favors......so i pulled out the red album by the beatles and heard it.....and i really think its about sex!
READ AND DECIDE!
"Last night I said these words to my girl
I know you never even try girl
Come on, come on, come on, come on,
Please please me oh yeh like I please you.
You don’t need me to show the way love
Why do I always have to say love
Come on, come on, come on, come on,
Please please me oh yeh like I please you.
I don’t want to sound complaining
But you know there’s always rain in my heart.
I do all the pleasing with you
It’s so hard to reason with you.
Oh yeh why do you make me blue.
Last night I said these words to my girl,
Come on, come on, come on, come on,
Please please me oh yeh like I please you - you. "
