If you could, please post issues that you are having with College Hoops 2K7 in this thread, so that we can have a single source for finding issues and hopefully resolving them.

If you can, please include as much information as possible, I've listed some information below that would be really helpful for the devs in terms of reproducing issues:

- What platform the issue occured on
- Which screen the issue occured on
- Which mode the issue occured in (esp. offline vs. online)
- What you did before the issue occured
- Whether you can get the issue every time and if not, how often it occurs

i've never played ne 2ksports gamez before, it was alwayz ea sportz, but i'm changin this year, cuz they have better stuff then ea sportz, so i wouldn't kno how long itz been going on, but u'd think they woulda fixed it after 1-2 gamez had it...Skriptures17 iz right, most of the time the foul happened before motion of shooting & most playerz do yell @ the refz when they miss the shot cuz they thought they got fouled

i think ur the 1 who hasnt watched real ball before. There is contact on almost every shot down low, unless its a wide open lay up. You cant just do finger rolls and **** when u got a 7 footer on you, you have to go up absorb contact and then lay the ball up.

Online I've played 10 games and only completed 8 of them. The other 2 were unregistered at half time. Both times I was up by more than 10......the second game's score was 55-11 at the half. This happens with the NBA game too though. It only drops with an error when I am ahead. IT HAS NEVER ONCE HAPPENED WHILE I WAS LOSING. Weird. Granted I do win a lot more than I lose (except the college basketball my record is 4-4 (two losses by one point, two losses by 2 points), but its still very strange how it only happens when I'm winning the game.

In closed legacy mode (XBOX), I look at my coach report card, and there is a glitch with the legacy points graph. It has the increments, but the graph is moved into the bottom left portion of my screen, where I can't see it.

In legacy mode for the 360, after the season is done and you save the import the draft class to nba2k7, there is no way to delete it off your hard drive, even after you delete all of college hoops saves. Has anybody else had this problem, and if so, found a way to fix it ?

1- I have noticed the blocking foul too. I also officiate, and it seems that, even when the ball is stolen from me and I hustle back on defense, you can sneak your player in there for the block even when the opponent is in the air and they give the ball back to you out of bounds.

2- In coach mode, I have noticed that if you are standing near where the players stand when waiting for substitutions, and you are close to a player, you can see through his head and just see his eyes.

3- When I go to the recruiting screen or the polls screen in legacy, the game just keeps scrolling through them quickly and it is quite annoying.

i encountered a glitch where i would score a basket...and the players don't go out of bounds with the ball to inbound it..so the ball just sits on the ground...

here's the weird part...i just go to the ball and my player picks up the ball, it counts as a rebound and i can score it again and it adds to the point total...i can do this again and again

On the PS2 if you have the crowd noise at 100 you hear this annoying whistle after every play.

When I'm playing a game in legacy mode on xbox 360 (obviously offline) and back out to alter my lineup or call a time out, when I return the commentators' voices are gone along with the crowd noise and the symbol indicating what player I control. When I leave the game, it doesn't allow me to leave the calendar screen or even save.
It never happens the first time I pause to make a change, typically it's in the second half. Help!

Bug/Glitch: During gameplay, there are pink squares/rectangles that show up randomly across the screen. It is almost like the display can't keep up or isn't rendering correctly. I do not have any kind of similar display problems on any other 360 games. This could be just an issue with my particular disc. So, there may or may not be others that have experienced this. But, this seemed like an appropriate place to post the issue and see if anyone has had a similar experience and find out how they resolved the situation. Thanks.

Well if you get fouled before the shot, it only makes sense that the 2 points aren't credited, and that you don't get free throws... because it happened BEFORE the shot, so everything after the foul is null.

Playing legacy on regular XBOX. Played most of the game without issue. At the last minute or two of the game when the computer intentionally fouled, no foul was called. This happened 4 or 5 times.
I did the same thing later against the computer. All settings are default for the legacy.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I get this when someone signs into xbox live...dunno if that is the situation with you or not...

and as for the blocking fouls...the foul most likley happens before you shoot...yet you follow through with the shot...but since you were fouled before you shoot the shot doesnt count...the foul is on the floor...such is the real game...no glitch here...

I have also encounted the glitch where the players shirt half dissapears...

and i have been getting messages saying my records are corrupt and i should reset them...but i dont know how to reset them...i stumbled on it once...but other than that i havent been able to find it...

Yeah, I got the half-shirt glitch for the first time this afternoon. All the glitches seem more serious because I just plunked down $400 on the 360. So, every little imperfection that happens, I'm like, "oh God, I hope this isn't something wrong with the console." Haha.

But the unreadable disc thing is the really annoying one because it kicks me out of online games and gives me a loss and a drop.

The fouls, charge/blocking definately need to be fixed. If you are up for a shot and someone is trying to draw a charge, they call blocking and the shot goes in or your going for a dunk or lay-up you should get the 2 points if the ball goes in or you should get 2 shots. There is continuation in College just not as pronounced as in NBA.

Also and this is in the NBA game when you throw the ball down low to someone they run out toward the three point line and its really annoying. I throw the ball down low because I want it down low, now I have to work my way in the post again...this needs to be changed. Something that is really annoying is when you get double teamed and do a dribble move you loose the ball way to much, some games its like 80 or 90 % of the time whenever the pressure you down court...this also needs to change.

But other than these things I love the NBA and College game, and looking forward to it getting better. This is the 360 version BTW

I have been getting the 2k college bball game since the first year they came came out, so I am very familiar with the game play and its options. Generally most of the games have been good, but this year at least on the xbox it looks like they put no effort in to the game. I am a big gtown fan, so while I was playing my legacy I notice if my pg john wallace who starts the game if I try to put him on the bench they never allow me. On the sub screen I will put someone in for him, but then when play begins he is still vin their. It is very annoying to have your pg stamina at 40 when you are in a close game. This glitch only occurs in legacy mode. Anothe glitch which occures during my gtown legacy is again during substitution when i try to put my bench lineup in the game frezzes. This has happened numerous times this year casuing me not to play the game for a while. This game use to be one fo my favorites, but after the poor effort they put in to the game I am not sure if I will be getting it next year.

I got this game for Christmas, but have just had time to play it a little the last couple of days. I like it so far, but ran into a problem tonight. I am playing on Xbox 360.

I went to the Campus Store and unlocked all of the classic teams. However, I cannot play with any of them. In quick-game mode, if I select one of the unlocked teams (it can be one or two teams, home or away) the entire system freezes when I hit 'start'. Has anyone else had this happen or know of a solution?

The has played OK so far, but more glitches were sort of a depressing start after my 3 month freezing battle with MLB 2K6.

alright for ps2 when i go to play online there is this screen it says create accout, enter accout, or load account. When i either click create accout to create one, or enter one i had it waits a little bit then says "timed out verifying accout or timed out creating accout. and even sometimes it freezes on me wtf how do I fix this?

ok...what all of you arent getting is that your are getting fouled BEFORE you shoot...you just follow through with the layup/dunk after you get fouled...some of these are close calls but...and mabye i havent seen a bad one yet but the ones ive encountered have been good calls...and you will also actually get shooting fouls eventually if you havent already

For the most part, you are correct, but there is a bug. I've experienced it when I was up in the air dunking the ball way before I made contact. I replayed it, and my foot was level with the defenses waist when contact was made. It's rarely happened to me though, so I doubt you've experienced it yet.

YOU WANT TO SUB IN FOR THAT PLAYER. AFTER THE AUTOSUB IS FINAL, WHEN YOU GO

TO THE SUB SCREEN ALL YOUR SET LINEUPS ARE COMPLETELY SCREWED UP. I EXPECT

THEM TO BE ALTERED B/C THE INJURY BUT NOT TO THE POINT WHERE YOUR STARTING

LINEUP SET GETS ALL SCREW UP AND YOU HAVE 3 BACKUP PLAYERS PUT IN YOUR SET.

SOMEONE MENTIONED THE LEGACY POINTS GLITCH. THAT SAME THING HAPPENS IN MY

LEGACY TOO. THE GRAPH ISN'T EVEN VIEWABLE WITH IT BEING IN THE BOTTOM

ive had that happen too.. you cant do the on da fly sub, you have to pause the game and sub the ole fashion way and youll be cool

In closed legacy, the coach rating system.

Every coach but a few in the country is in the mid 90's from the beginning, and by the time you are looking at power conference schools, all of the coaches, even ones with like 100 total career games coached have perfect ratings sans like maybe one or two in all the power conferences combined.

I was doing a season at La Tech and saw my opponent was VMI, so I clicked where I coached compare our coach ratings. VMI coach was 6-21 in his career 95 rating, while I had over 300 wins with a mid/high 80's rating. Then I looked at another non conf patsy whose coach was 50-90 with a higher rating than my 86. I won a title at La Tech and didn't get a power conf job offer, or even made the 6 person list. Same went for the year I took La Tech to the final four the 1st time. In real life i'd have been a hot commodity.

XBOX 360, legacy mode, offline...

I am now 26 years into legacy mode... Just won the National Championship with Toledo and am running into the same glitch... When attempting to load the transfer list, the game freezes, requiring a complete restart of the console... This happens every single time and the console has been restarted a half dozen times... Please Fix!

On 360 tteams with the wron g fight songs ie tennesse w/Missouri fight song also & this is online have tried it offline I chose drive camera angle, If i play with nevada i cant se where to inbound the ball sometimes because of the make of the arena, also when i'm im bounding going up court, you didn't make the goal see through like on the other camera angles, & How is the charge button used

Legacy mode

injuries to starters on AI-controlled teams...when they get healthy, they don't return to the starting lineup unless their backup eventually gets hurt as well. Oftentimes, the original starters don't ever play in games at all. Really annoying when a 90+ rated player rides the bench all season because of this glitch.

I would really like to know if this is something that will be fixed in a patch or if this will definitely be fixed in next year's addition. I sold my copy of 2k7 because of it and would gladly pick up a used copy again if there was hope.

Coach Attributes screen after completing a season

I've won the National Championship for the second time in three years with Villanova. The head coach is Jay Wright and I had some trouble with the Coach Attributes screen. I have 5 points to use but all I need is one point to completely max out the attributes. That leaves four points left that I can't use. So, I press START to continue on, but I get a message to use all of my attribute points... the problem is that I can't. Has anyone else seen this? Is this a bug or am I missing something here?

ON ALL 2k games, if you use the "hop step/ R1 (ps2) or RT(360), and hit this button", it allows for the offense to easily score... its like a "get out of jail" free card. So I would like to see more missed inside shots made (but its hard figuring out if this is an inside shot or layup).

I also, would like to see more missed shots with the different variety of contested shots. You shouldn't need to have perfect D with someone with a very high "on-ball" defensive rating.

And just better D. College B-Ball is all about the D.

Also, their should be set fastbreak plays for everyteam, even if its to slow the ball down; along with the lane your teammates run. They get too close together and it gives the D better chance of playing everybody, but it shouldn't be that way. Getting wide is the key to a good fastbreak w/ the ball in the middle of the court is virtually at the offense expense.

But definately the SET FASTBREAK options is a good one.

On ps2 during a legacy, the centers do almost all the scoring. In real college basketball, guards score more than centers.

I have the same problem in my legacy mode. I use the UK wildcats. I'm getting ready to begin year 3. I won the title in year one and lost in elite eight in year two. All tubby smith need was two points to be maxed out on attributes. I still have three points left to use and can't figure out how to move on. PLEASE HELP! THIS NEEDS FIXED!

I was playing against my brother on the PS3 version and had this same thing happen, could not get ball from the ref after he picked up the ball that I knocked out of my brothers hands. Had to wait for shot clock violation although it acted like we were both on defense.

I found out that the rosters on the ps3 version are not correct. Does anyone know how to fix that? For example for Pitt They don't have Gray or Ramon and for Texas A&M they don't have Acie Law.

Glitches for PS3

1) MAJOR GLITCH for me is when I am playing I get a line that runs all the way down the court from top to bottom and it makes it appear as if my screen is bubbling out, I thought it was the disc but this is my second copy. I am playing on 1080I and not sure why it does this it don't do it on Madden or on MLB 2K7?

2) My players also lose half their jersey or half their shorts sometimes during gameplay.

3) No continuation sometimes just get the ball, NO POINTS or NO FREE THROWS

If anyone has experience this line please let me konw it drives me crazy!!!!

MY GAME FREEZES UP CONSTANTLY!! I HAVE SEEN OTHER FORUMS WHERE PEOPLE SAY THE SAME THING, HOWEVER, I NOTICE IN THIS FORUM THERE IS NO MENTION OF THAT. IS 2K SPORTS DELETING THESE POSTS? THE GAME ITSELF , WHEN IT WORKS, IS GREAT, MY FAVORITE AT THE MOMENT. BUT THE LOCKING UP IS GOING TO MAKE ME RETURN IT. I CANT HANDLE ALL THE GAMES I PLAYED BUT COULDN'T SAVE. I found out that the rosters on the ps3 version are not correct. Does anyone know how to fix that? For example for Pitt They don't have Gray or Ramon and for Texas A&M they don't have Acie Law.

These players are in the game, just not their names. The NCAA does not allow real names to be used. NOT A GLITCH.

I agree that charging isn't called as much as it should but the reason that you take the ball out of bounds instead of getting free throws is because the foul could have happened on the floor instead of when you're going up for a layup or dunk.

The thing where either the players shorts or shirt gets messed up happens to me too.

Another glitch is when im driving down the court with a defender right next to me, right after i pass the halfcourt line both players seem to stutter step or jump 2-3 feet in front of themselves and keep going.

This game gets all scratched up AND it screws up your 360 also. I have already turned in my 360 once and I am going to do it again. I have my 2nd copy of College hoops and it is just as badly scratched up as the first one. They need to definitly do something about this

they do have acie law on texas a&m. im playing on the ps3 version and i uploaded all the rosters with the names from GoCougz and when i played with texas a&m acie law was on the team.

Heres my glitch:
-Im playing on PS3
-The glitch happens on everything from legacy mode to coach mode to quick game.
-The glitch is that when you go to dunk the players hands sometimes don't appear to hang on to the rim, they just grab air. (It seems that this glitch is hard to fix because it is in most basketball games, but if it were fixed dunking would be more amazing than it already is)

IMO, it's a glitch that you can bump the player with another player in the backcourt and they will never have another man come up to get the ball or even make an attempt at passing it over half court, they will just try to dribble through you.

This is on PS3.

The shirt/pants thing is way better than it was on nba2k7. At least, it fixes itself faster. Also, I get a lot of lag, but I'm not sure if that's because of my TV or what. It doesn't lag on any other game... not even nba. It's possible, though, that it's certain courts lag me. At least, taht's the closest I can come to figuring it out.

There are some weird awarding of the end-season awards as well. And sometimes star players transfer. I saw Big Baby transfer once. I was like omg. That just doesn't seem realisitic.

The playrs run way too fast on the fast break, and I once got a player who I recruited whose name was nothing more than a combination of syllables.

Otherwise, good game. :)

i have read most of these and pretty much agree wit all of the idesas across this website...
i have seen the shirt disappear and the pants like snap... also when the ref passes the ball to the inbounder u can tip that and the ball rolls away and the shot clock runs out [yes the shot clock] cuz they consider it inbounding . but u cant pick up the ball or anything it just sits there and the game freezes fix that and if u let the players be able to tip the ref giving the player the ball atleast give the playr that tipped it a delay of game. i have also experienced 1 time wherre the game just stopped the music and everything and then i finished the game and the 2k menu couldnt be accessed it would just make the noice and nothing would be there . i decided to play anothr game and when i finished it was back and so was the music.
there r lots of additions i think should be in the game, but they r all mentioned throughout this website...

replays often show the hands not on the rim anad stuuf like that . this is all for 360.
when in a game and rtying to set a play to the controllr the plays dont get set just the 2k nav screws it up. also the plays never get run rite. also i like that upsets occur but ive had a 77 team beat a 99 team in simulation. the pressing is crappy cuz the point guards always throw it away even if there is a guy open within 10 feet. too many missed shots down low. need to be able to block more shots w\o the foul. also i have had the announcers say the wrong person for a stat and i have had them say random stuff. ive had the statline at the bottom of the screen be wrong and different form the statline accessed by the 2k nav ingame menu. the charges r always blocks even when u change the sliders. part of the game at the right of the game doesnt show up i no this cuz when they tell u the ppl to watch out for at the beginning of the game it only shows half the box on the rite side and also when in the calendar at the bottom where it tells u the what the colors mean the 1's at the rite r missingt and or half filled so itll say non instead of nonconference.

last nite i scored 40 points w\ a playr and the announcer said he got a triple double but he only had 2 asists and 2 reb. and he didnt have a triple doublle///// also i scored and it said the wrong name.... also when i looked at the leaders for the points the top 4 were all like 77's overall . very unrealistic, also i looked at oden and he and duran were etting like 5 points a game, the game should have smarter ai's and should no their teams strenght and play in the post with oden

acutally one thing i see on the 360 version is i seen twice is that sometimes half of the jersey will disappear for a couple plays.

I start a game in Legacy mode, the Xbox crashes and I get two red rings (Quadrants 1 and 4). I have to unplug the console to shut it down. This did not happen prior to the latest update so I'm thinking it has something to do with that. It happens on NBA 2k7 as well.

Anybody know anything about this??? I really don't want to trade these games in.
