This could be due to any number of things; bad connection at your end, bad connection at host end (either your opponent or slow 2K servers). Also, much has been written/posted on the internet about HDTV's having "input lag" due to internal picture processing which can create noticeable lag. I am still searching for an LCD HDTV with good reviews regarding gaming and input lag. Any suggestions?

I have a Sharp Aquos 52" LCD that has zero input lag for everything but MLB2K9 online (and I'm sure it's not TV lag). It plays offline just fine.
It really is a great TV for gaming and blu-rays. As for my connection, I have FiOS 20/20 and have no issues with other games. The game us unplayable for me online due to the input lag. I'll move the analog stick to swing on time, but then the swing doesn't actually happen until almost a full second later. |
