bcause now its hard for to get into NCAA 08. its almost completelty spoiled that game for me. i had such high hopes for that game, with all of its new features & dynasty- but i cant get into it, because i keep thinking "man, if only this played like apf, i'd be set"

i wish i could just settle for APF2k8, but as an offline player- this game is TOO bare and all the teams play the same, so i know i'll be bored sooner than later- this game feels like a great demo for 2k9 to me. So while its fun now, it doesnt have longevity for me.

Uh... that is not true by a long shot.
I've played different teams offline and they do not play the same.
They play to their strength and the AI is pretty good at reading what you are up to in most cases.

You need to play a season my friend or where ever you'll meet the higher end teams if you haven't heard. Most games after a while pretty much play the same. You really think playing NCAA is going to offer so much more of a difference???

Once you begin playing teams that have more stars for you to compete with you'll realize the longetivity that is in place.

So venture out a little more with 2k8 like those that dared to believe the world wasn't flat.
Otherwise you might be missing out on all that has come about from that 1st step like we enjoy today.
