Default Why I Don't Play Online....

Because there are little kids who have to show everyone up by cheating. It's funny how seriously some little kids take these games. If I had online, I'd take every loss like I man, I wish everyone else would too......

I've never played online, but I bet it would be really fun and cool to play against someone who would play a good game....but I guess you can't do this with little kids...

Slick-

I do feel like you but that is why you meet people via these sites, you can tell who is grown versus who is a kid. Believe me there is nothing better than playing a great game online with a mature person. I for one am grown, mature and take my losses like a man....

The positives of online still outweigh the negatives. I may have to sift through 5 games with idiots to get to a good game with a serious player, but in the end that one good game is worth it.

I agree as well. This is not like when I was younger and all of my friends would come over and we played good competitive games. Now I have to search a bit but when you get a good game you always want to play another. Very addicting.

Yeah, you should play online before you start slamming it. Seriously... thats pretty ignorant. There are a few bad apples out there, but it is not nearly half as bad as these forums make it out to be. Alot of times, people who dont like to lose come on here and rant right after a tough loss and cry cheese, when in reality, they probably played dumb football like going for it on 4th and 23 from thier own 16 (which you see alot online). Ive been playing online sports games for about 5-6 years now, and there have been maybe a dozen games that were so cheesy and cheap that I couldn't even finish the end of the 1st quarter. So out of probably 5000 games, that aint too bad. I would say 95% of people online play fair, its just matter of taking the time to practice, learn your personnel, what defenses to call in certain situations, and tracking opponents tendencies (That, like real football, is EVERYTHING online!). Nothing is more satisfying then beating someone who tries to use 1 or 2 plays the whole game, and you are already 2 steps ahead of him the whole game, and you just shut his weak ***** down. You can be very succesful using good football strategy, fundamentals (i.e. countering what the defense throws at you.. they blitz from the weak side all the time? throw some slants there. They playing cover 2 every time? Run your TE on afew seam patterns...etc). Make sure you kick field goals and take the sure points when the situation calls for it, and PUNT when the situation calls for it!!!!!

Good luck
