NHL 2K9 cover athlete Rick Nash of the Columbus Blue Jackets and NHL 2K8 cover athlete Jason Spezza of Ottawa Senators joined 2K Sports for the NHL 2K9 Will launch event. Executives from the NHL, NHLPA and representatives from about 30 top Canadian media outlets came out for the event, to celebrate the first, and only, NHL video game for the Nintendo Wii.
