Get your first taste of the new baseball season action with the free Major League Baseball 2K9 demo download. Put your skills to the test at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park by playing three full innings as either the Tampa Bay Rays or Philadelphia Phillies, in a rematch of the 2008 World Series contenders.

The demo supports one or two players, local only, and features newly improved pitching, hitting, fielding and baserunning controls. Fans will also get previews of some stunning new Signature Style™ animations and the exciting new broadcast team, Gary Thorne and Steve Phillips.

The free demo is available now on  Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360®. Queue it up from Xbox.com and it will be waiting for you when you’re ready to play ball.

The Major League Baseball 2K9 demo for the PLAYSTATION®3 will be available on Thursday, February 26 through the PlayStation®Network Store.
