Overall I think the Orlando Magic, we've had a great pre-season. We're 4-and-1 right now, and we've beaten some really good teams. We started our first week we had three straight road games, and we won at Charlotte, at New Orleans and at San Antonio. I know it's just preseason but for a young team like ours it's great to win on the road so I think the team is really coming together. It was a little disappointing when I had to sit out against Charlotte because I wanted to play against Adam, but I know that it's just the preseason, and we're going to have plenty of opportunities to play against each other and for me to go back to Charlotte. They're in our division so I know there's going to be other opportunities to go against those guys.

I know me and Adam I guess are competing again because he's on the cover of a college sports game, and I'm on the cover of the 2K Sports College Hoops game, but we actually really haven't talked about that too much and I don't feel like there's any competition between it. Other than the fact that our face is on the cover, it's not like me and Adam made the games and I'm really looking forward to seeing 2K Sports College Hoops 2K7—it's going to be a great game.

I absolutely loved NBA 2K7. It's the best NBA game that I've played so far, and actually all my guys, all my teammates on the Orlando Magic, they love the game, too, and actually Carlos Arroyo travels with an Xbox 360 so when we're on our team plane he hooks it up to the TV and we usually get some heated games of NBA 2K7 on the flights to and from cities.

I'll always be a college basketball fan, so I'm definitely going to follow college basketball this season, especially Duke. Obviously, I'll be keeping up with and keeping in contact with all my fellow Duke players and Duke coaches. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Duke develops this year. They're such a young team, and I think we have a chance to be really good though. Some other teams that I think are going to be really good…obviously Florida and UNC are going to be very, very good. A team I look for in the ACC to maybe surprise some people is Boston College. They had a great run at the end of last season and made it to the ACC Championship game, and they lost some players like Craig Smith, but they have Jared Dudley back and they have Tyrese Rice back at the point guard, and I think they'll be really tough in the ACC.

Training camp overall was pretty good for our team. I thought we got a lot better. Unfortunately for me, I got hurt, and kind of reinjured my foot during training camp. So I couldn't practice after the second day and just had to watch. I felt like I fell behind a little bit, but it was good to be around the guys. You're in an isolated environment, and you get to bond as a team a little bit. I guess something funny that happened is that the veterans made me and James Augustine, the two rookies, sing happy birthday to Grant Hill. So that was kinda funny, and I really got to show off my vocal cords.

My back is fine. That's not really a concern right now for me. I've done numerous hours of rehab and strengthening and feel confident in my back going into the season. The thing that has been bothering me is my foot. I tore some soft tissue on the bottom of my left foot, and I'm trying to come back from that injury right now. I've been practicing a few days now so hopefully I'll continue to heal.
