NFL 2K5 Crowned Operation Sports Best Sports Game Ever

Back in March, the folks at Operation Sports decided to make some madness of their own, and created a 64-competitor tournament to determine the "Best Sports Game of All Time."

After much excitement, debate and banter, the tournament came down to two games 2K Sports, with the final release in 2Ks beloved NFL series, NFL 2K5, defeating the latest installment in the College Hoops series 95-51 to take the crown as Best Sports Game Ever.

To make it to the championship round, both games faced and defeated some top-notch competition. NFL 2K5 beat NHL 95, Joe Montanas Sports Talk Football, Blades of Steel, Mike Tysons Punchout and Baseball Stars to reach the championship round, while College Hoops 2K8 defeated Championship Manager, NBA 2k8, Tecmo Bowl and Super Tecmo Bowl in its long road to the finals.
